Sounds a bit cheesy, right?  Maybe so... but I tell you, it's all so true!  Here, let me put it to you this way:  suppose you're in a department store or shopping mall... you're probably just doing a little shopping or maybe even just taking a stroll... then you come across a saleslady who's promoting her store's latest product, a cologne or perfume, for example...

She looks at you, smiles, then asks, "Would you care to try our new fragrance?"

Hmmm... you stop for a moment, thinking... are you in the market for a new scent?  Or perhaps you'd just like to continue on your way?  In the span of a few seconds, the saleslady guesses your thoughts.

She makes another offer.  "Not interested?  Well, how about taking home a box of our choice freebies instead?"

Huh???

That gets your attention.  Now you're definitely interested, alright.  You smile back at the saleslady and ask her what's exactly in that box...

It turns out that there's a lot of good stuff in there:  fragrance samples, brochures, some magazines, little knick-knacks, etc.  There's nothing fancy or impressive... but it's free!  And to think that she's offering it to you even if you don't buy anything!  You don't get a kind offer like this every day.

So you appreciatively get the freebies and thank her in return.

And what does the saleslady do afterwards?

If you're going to send emails to follow-up a deal or a possible sale to your prospects, then you'd better have a good reason for sending them out.  It should be worth reading, at the very least.

You know what makes it even better?  If your prospects get something good out of your emails.

But how will you do that?

But You've Got A Problem...

There's still that matter of your online business that needs attending.

Aside from that, there's a lot of work to do if you do decide that you're going to send out gifts regularly.  Even if you had an autoresponder, it has its limits.  You will still need to set up your system manually.

I'll give you a basic idea of what's in store for you.  First, you need to get the products you're going to give out, whether they're bought or created yourself.  Next you'd have to upload all of them to a web server.  This could be on your own server or hosted elsewhere.  After the uploading process, all those download links need to be copied and pasted in all the emails you're going to send out.

That doesn't exactly sound like fun, eh?  There's more.

You will need to do all of these everytime you want to send a gift.
